14 Hands in a Winery located in Eastern Washington. Since a long time ago, wild horses have roamed in Eastern Washington and the Columbia River Valley. Horses are measure in hands; it is a measurement that originated in ancient Egypt. These wild horses are 14 hands tall, and that's how the winery got its name.

In the old days, when there was no fence, sometimes the wild horses would run through the vineyard and even destroyed a few grapevines on their way. The packaging design is inspired by this spirit, having the horses dancing and celebrating on the grapevines!

Like the wild horses who are untamed explorers, 14 hands and their customers share their curiosity and freedom. So we want to design a wine label that feels unconventional, fun, and expressive.
